Iron County Warrant RecordsIron County Warrant Records

Start with the record holder. Iron County Justice Court handles local traffic and failure-to-appear questions; Fifth District Court handles district cases; the Iron County Sheriff’s Office answers service and custody questions. A warrant-status inquiry belongs with the issuing court, while an agency-record request goes to the office that created the file. Keep a case or citation number ready. Ask the clerk to route you if the notice does not identify a court. Keep the notice nearby.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. Iron County Warrant Records is a private reference site. We cannot search official warrant systems, recall a warrant, accept bond, arrange a surrender, or provide legal advice.

Need Official Warrant Information?

Choose the office connected to the record. A court decides whether its warrant should be recalled or changed; the sheriff can provide information about service and custody. Ask the clerk which court has the case if the notice does not make that clear.

  • Iron County Justice Court: 82 N 100 E, Suite 101, Cedar City, UT 84720; 435-865-5335. The court lists weekday hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Contact the clerk about justice-court case status, payment options, and a date to appear. A request for a court date by itself does not recall a warrant.
  • Fifth District Court, Cedar City: 40 N 100 E, Cedar City, UT; 435-867-3250. Contact the clerk about district-court filings and cases. Utah State Courts provides the official court directory and case services.
  • Iron County Sheriff: 2132 N Main, Cedar City, UT; 435-867-7500. The Sheriff’s Office points the public to the Utah Statewide Warrants search for an online starting point. Confirm a result with the issuing court.
  • Iron County Jail: 2136 N Main, Cedar City, UT; 435-867-7555. Use this number for jail and custody questions, not to ask the jail to clear a court warrant.

Official starting points include the Iron County Sheriff’s Office, the Utah State Courts, and the Utah Statewide Warrants search. A GRAMA request to the Sheriff’s Office is for records that office holds; it is not a substitute for a court clerk’s case search. The Sheriff’s records request page provides its current form and instructions. The office says a response may take up to 10 business days, and fees are not posted in advance.

Published Iron County contact pages show differing dispatch numbers. Do not treat either number as a warrant hotline. Use the Sheriff’s current contact page to choose the appropriate contact, and direct case-specific questions to the issuing court.
